Elopement in Moc Chau, Son La, Vietnam
Get ready to fall in love with this waterfall wedding that blends rustic, foliage inspiration with serene views. If you’re the outdoorsy type, heads up! Garry & Romeo love nature and adventure, so when they found Nang Tien Waterfall in Moc Chau, Son La, they knew they had found the perfect location to say “I Do”. With the help of event planners, Bayla Wedding Planner, they whisked their guests away to their own private mountain retreat.
Garry & Romeo shared this with us about their inspiration for the day and how they brought it all together:
"Every love story is beautiful, but our love story is my ultimate favorite.
Our story is very special. It is about 2 men who were so far apart, and so different. But because of fate, because of destiny, our hearts found each other. And when we found each other, we have never been apart.
The past 7 years I've shared with you have been the happiest and the most memorable. You are God's biggest gift to me. You gave me so much love, happiness, satisfaction, security, everything I could ask for in a partner. You are my number one inspiration. You are the reason why I have so much happiness. You are my life.
Now, on this special day, I promise you that I will forever love you, treasure you, and take care of you. I may not be a perfect person, but for you, I will do my 100% to keep you happy and feel loved. I can't promise to love you perfectly, but I will love you with all my heart and with all my soul. I will always give you the best of me, the best of my heart, the best I can offer. I love you so much and I will love you for all eternity.
You are my husband. You are my love. You are my life."
"It’s pretty difficult to understand how lucky have I gotten to deserve somebody as extraordinary as you. Yes, you are not perfect, you do have your bad days & you do have your fair share of weaknesses, but you know, you are more than that, you are imperfectly perfect to me. You see, Garry, we’re a perfect fit. And with that, let me just tell you again (not that I failed in telling you everyday) that I am so massively, undoubtedly in absolute love with you. It’s like the universe conspired to make someone who will be destined to complete me. You are the sail to my stormy days. You keep me balanced & level-headed when the boat gets wobbly at times. Nobody knows & loves me better than you do, and I, of course, you. We are two kindred souls who met by the most unexpected of chances. But today, here we are, seven & a half years into the relationship, showing our purest of intentions to each other, showing our whole selves - the love, the soul, the commitment in our hearts knowing that we are & will always be ready to love one another until the end of time. Garry, my love, the one person who holds my heart completely. Thank you for completing me. Thank you for turning my life around. Thank you for loving me as wholeheartedly as you possibly can. For seeing the best in me. For always reminding me that I am always good enough for you. And of course, for lifting me up. Where there has been cold, you have brought warmth. Where there was darkness, you have brought life. The miracle of our love lies in the path that we have chosen together. I enter this commitment with you knowing that the real magic of our love is not to be anxious of what lies ahead, but to follow the path together, hand in hand. Whatever lies ahead, the good, the bad, the sweet, the ugly, we will face together. There may be days when we’d find ourselves arguing. There may be times when fate would try us. But if we look at each other, we will always see a friend, we will always see half of ourselves, for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness & in health, in joy and in sorrow. 7 more years. 70 more years. Forever. To end this, let me just quote one of my favourite tracks from our favourite TV series, AJ and The Queen: “It’s gonna take a miracle to make me love someone new, because I’m crazy for you.” Mahal na mahal kita, Garry. My heart is yours & yours alone."
